Here's how: Go to the phone Settings > Open Wi-Fi and connect to the Chromecast SSID (Example: Chromecast1234, Living Room TV, Bedroom TV, etc.) > Go to the Google Home app and try to set it up again. I have to factory reset the Chromecast each time I want to try setting it up. Just connect your phone to it first and you should get promoted. Most allow you to accept terms and get through the paywall. Then all you have to do is connect that to the hotel wifi. I use my Landlords wifi, so I cant really access the WiFi router, but I dont believe that anything has changed. Hook all your devices up to that, including your phone. Manually connect to the Chromecast SSID. The home app initially finds the Chromecast and it links via the onscreen code etc, but then at the end it says the Chromecast cannot connect to the WiFi.Settings > Tap Privacy > Tap Local Network > Select the Google Home app. ![]() ![]() For iOS devices: Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Turn on Bluetooth and turn on the Local Network Access. For Android devices: on your phone Settings > Turn on Location Services. Adjust the settings of the setup device.Forget and reconnect your mobile phone to the network and manually type in the Wi-Fi password. ![]() All my other devices at home has no issues connecting and working with 5Ghz wifi.
